Airparks India is an privately funded, socially responsible, not-for-profit organization, setup
with the objective of promoting and developing aerosports and the
aeronautical culture in India. This entails setting up of dedicated
facilities or air parks for the conduct of sporting activity. This will be
envisaged and realised through an organizational
framework comprising an executive
committee, sub-committees for specific aerosports and a directorate for
driving the organizations' charter. Besides this, the organization will take
upon itself the responsibility of locating
suitable airfields or sites, developing and activating operational
facilities at the site, identifying sources of funding, lobbying regulatory authorities
on policy matters, conducting promotional activities and representing
the general interests of the aerosports community.
